With its open plan and endless windows it allows you to keep tabs on the ferries and boat traffic coming and going along the coast. From here you can watch the sunset turn the Howe Sound Mountains a rosy hue or enjoy the romance of the famous "Moon over Keats”.
If your passion is curling up in comfy chairs with art on the walls, books on the shelves and music at your fingertips you have found your home away. The fully equipped open plan kitchen will allow the chef to be part of the action while whipping up a gourmet meal.
Our Gibsons vacation rental offers a master suite with a full bathroom, walk-in closet, TV, DVD, and a luxurious king size bed with great reading lights. Your private balcony doors allow the sounds of the sea to lull you to sleep. The wrap around windows of the second bedroom found on the lower level will bring the sound of the sea and the tang of the breeze to promise a wonderful sleep. The second bathroom on the main floor offers a large shower stall. Both bathrooms and bedrooms are outfitted with attractive luxurious linens.
Swim off the ramp at high tide, rent a kayak or boat nearby, take a fishing charter from the marina, play a round at one of three fine golf courses, hike the beautiful trails that abound or just lay back and enjoy. Eagles and gulls will provide your air show while mergansers, geese and a variety of other water fowl will amuse you with their antics.
The ocean is at your doorstep so wander along the seawall to Gibsons Landing, pick up a book to enjoy with a cappuccino, enjoy the sights from the pier, shop for fine clothing, art and souvenirs or take a meal at one of the many fine restaurants. The new Smitty’s fish house is found on the dock below the famous Molly's Reach of Beachcomber's fame. Other great choices include Greek, Italian, Continental as well as pub fare. Remember you won’t need a designated driver as it’s all within walking distance.
There is much to do and see on the Sunshine Coast. Don’t miss a hike to the world famous Skookumchuck Rapids or a lunch in funky Roberts Creek. Take an island hopping excursion or an art tour. The Coast has many festivals - for rowers, writers, artists and musicians so there will be much of interest to enhance your visit.
